C++/LUA scripter (Fair warning, I don't know ANY C++)

Weekdays:
5:00AM - 7:30AM Mornings
2:00PM - 11:00PM Afternoons

Weekends:
If I'm home, I'm on, most of the time I'm on more on the weekends than on the weekdays, reason weekdays are restricted is because of summer school xD

5. How many hours a week (approx) you can contribute to GM duty ? Ah jesus, times above explain this as well. I always seem to explain everything in one question, but everyone has this second question >.<

6. Have you ever been a GM on any other Private servers? (do not say you were GM on your own server) Yes, I was.

7. If Yes , What is the name of the server? (leave blank if you answered NO to question 6)
Servers:
KnightwowPvP - I left, Admin was a complete prick, listened to NOBODY but himself.
DMG-WoW - Admin couldn't patch to 2.4, so he closed it, great server, fun staff
CeldonWoW - Someone deleted the DB, so it was shutdown
Forsaken KingdomWoW - I quit, didn't like the Admin, he was an ex-military prick, listened to nobody again.

8. Do you have a good knowledge of GM commands ? Yes, I've either used them, or toyed with them, I've used atleast all of the commands and MOST of the sub-commands

9. Do you have a problem with authority ? Nope, I follow directions and rules fully and without problems.

10. What qualities do you possess that can be beneficial to our server? I know LUA, I'm sure that can be beneficial ? I know the duties of an in-game GM, I'm able to make custom instances, my old server I was brainstorming an RP town idea, and I also made a custom BG.

11. Imagine you are GM, and a player asks you to teach him his/her class missing skills, do you teach it? or do you ask her/him to make a ticket? I politely inform the player that he/she needs to submit a ticket, I then ask the player if he/she wouldn't mind me summoning them after I've answered their ticket, and then I assist their problem.

12. How many times you posted on our forums? None, theres nothing I find interesting enough to post in, as of yet

13. Imagine, you see a hacker, you got his name but not his IP or account name, whats your next move? I notify an Admin that has DB access, he can then search for his account and aquire his IP address for me.(This is if he logs out) ? if he doesn't log out I type .playerinfo (name) and write down his information, and depending on your policies with banning people I either ask you for permission of the banning or I ban him myself. The severeness of the punishment also depends on your policies

14. What is the most important in GM duty? Assisting players by answering tickets, following your rules/policies/regulations and being polite and mature with the population of the server.

15. What is your character name on our server? Doomsedge and Dooms

16. Do you have any experience with Ascent Emulator? Yes, but not much.

17. Do you have experience as a gm on Ascent server? Yes of course, I've never GM'd for a Mangos server, so I'm only fluent with Ascent commands.

18. How much is 6 + (2x8) = ? (if you answer this question wrong, then your application wont be considered) I believe that is...22 ? 2x8= 16+6 = 22

19. If a player says " I already put points in mortal strike, but i cant learn" , how do you verify if he actually telling the truth? As far as I know you can't, you can try resetting his talent points and having him reput them in, I'd say do .showspells but that shows only weapon skills and proffessions...Hmm...It should give him rank 1 MS if he spec'd for it, then he can go train it from the trainer, so if hes saying he doesn't have it, he never spec'd for it.

20. What is the command to to activate game object? (not spawn) Ok first, you type
.go sel then you type .go activate

21. What is the command to change NPC faction to Neutral? You type .mod faction 1472

22. What makes you think you are qualified to be a gm on FrostFury?
I'm fair, mature and can handle most problems that would come up, except for the fact I'm applying for a Scripting position. In the case that you really need to know, I'm polite to people, I have pretty good people skills and I know how to solve most problems that would come up, I'm able to answer tickets if there is any, I may be able to bring more players to the server, as I do know a few friends that LOVE Pre-BC servers, and so far this server is actually pretty epic in terms of a Pre-BC server.


Anything Else - I'm an amateur scripter, but I do know how to script LUA, and I'm confident that I could script a few custom instances if you want. I'm sure even with my experience I could do more, but we will have to see what I can come up with.

LUA scripting is a good thing if you guys dont have one already.
